The horse's sweet spot is distances between a mile and six furlongs and two miles — think of it as the true test of a racehorse's stamina and class. Over that range, Satyress has won five of six races, an 83% win rate that is genuinely remarkable. She picked up her first career win at Beverley in June 2026 and has been building momentum ever since. Her most recent victory came at Wolverhampton four weeks ago, and she raced just yesterday, so she remains very much in active work.

One curiosity worth noting: her most regular jockey, Cam Hardie, has yet to hit the winning post with her. They have paired up five times without a victory, which suggests the partnership simply hasn't clicked — something that happens in racing, even with good horses and good riders. Bethell's yard has sent out 18 winners this season, so there's a solid foundation of form across the stable. The trainer herself has noted that Satyress performs much better away from the all-weather surfaces and showed her true class when conditions suit, having struggled on the all-weather at Newcastle in August when the pace of the race didn't play to her strengths.
