Sashimono
Sashimono is a two-year-old with just one race under its belt, finishing sixth in its debut run a day ago. Trained by
Alan King at Wroughton in Wiltshire, the horse has plenty of time to develop — two-year-olds are still learning their craft, and a single outing tells you almost nothing about what a young horse might become.

Our model's view, based on this horse's career and recent runs
King's yard is in good form this season with 57 winners already to their name, so Sashimono will be receiving the kind of professional care and attention that gives a young horse every chance to improve. What happens next will depend entirely on how the trainer reads the horse's progress and what race he thinks it is ready for.
