Sapphire Sun

Sapphire Sun is a two-year-old still finding her feet on the track. She has run twice so far without a win or a placed finish, finishing twelfth most recently and sixth before that. The horse is trained by J P Murtagh at Coolaghknock Glebe in County Kildare, a yard that has already sent out 53 winners this season — a sign of solid form across the stable. With racing just yesterday, Sapphire Sun remains actively campaigned and will have more opportunities to break her duck soon enough.
