Santo
Santo is a 2-year-old still finding its feet on the track. With one place finish from five races and no wins to its name yet, the horse is working through early racing experience without the breakthrough result that would shift the momentum. The recent form — eighth, fifth, eighth, third, sixth — shows glimpses of competitiveness, particularly that third-place finish, but nothing sustained enough to suggest a winner is about to break through.Based on TrackLab's analysis

Our model's view, based on this horse's career and recent runs
Eve Johnson Houghton's Blewbury yard has been prolific this season with 42 winners already, so Santo is in a strong training setup. Young horses often need time and patience before clicking, and a place finish early in a career suggests the foundation is there. But at this stage, Santo remains very much a work in progress, and the next few races will tell whether that third-place run was the start of something or just a moment in a learning curve that will take months to complete.
