Win rate and top-3 rate will show once this horse has raced.
The horse is trained by B J Meehan at Manton in Wiltshire, a yard that has already sent out 12 winners this season. That's a sign of a trainer in form, one with a team firing well and the ability to get horses ready to win. For a debut runner, being sent out by a yard like that is an encouraging signal — Meehan wouldn't run the horse if there wasn't a genuine chance it could surprise people. But debuts are unpredictable. Some horses take to it naturally; others need the experience and improve with a second or third race. All you can really do is watch and find out which kind San Jose is.
