Salama Blue Point
Salama Blue Point is a three-year-old still searching for a first win, but there are early signs that one might not be far away. In two races so far, she has yet to get her nose in front, though a placed finish — meaning she came in the top few — suggests she is competitive and learning her trade.Based on TrackLab's analysis

The trainer behind her is D K Weld, one of Ireland's most respected names in racing, based at the Curragh in Co Kildare. The yard has sent out 33 winners already this season, which tells you this is a team that knows how to get horses ready to win. Having that kind of support behind a young horse still finding her feet is no small advantage.
With only two races on the clock and her most recent run coming just days ago, Salama Blue Point is very much a work in progress. The next few outings will be telling — either she builds on that placed finish and finds the winner's enclosure, or the team learns more about where she fits best. Right now, she is a horse with a little promise and plenty still to prove.
