That kind of touch suggests the horse knows how to run and is clearly racing fit. The latest outing was just a day ago, so Saga Gaga is very much in the mix right now, campaigned by trainer M D O'Callaghan at The Curragh. O'Callaghan's yard is in good form this season with 18 winners already, a sign the operation is running well and finding opportunities for its horses.

For a young horse with only six races under its belt, Saga Gaga has already proven it belongs at the track. The two wins place it well above the scatter of horses that never quite manage to get their heads in front, and the consistency across recent runs—backing up the Killarney victory with places in four of five subsequent races—shows a horse that's learning and improving rather than burning out.
