Sa Llagosta is a two-year-old still finding its feet on the racecourse. The horse has run twice without finishing in the top two, most recently a week ago when it finished tenth, followed by a ninth-place finish before that. With
Marco Botti's Newmarket yard sending out 45 winners this season, there is clearly racing talent in the stable, and the trainer will be looking to get Sa Llagosta into that winning column soon enough. For a horse this young and early in its career, a couple of races without a place is not unusual — many take time to learn what racing is about. How quickly Sa Llagosta adapts and improves will tell us whether this is simply a horse still growing into the game or one that may struggle to find the form needed to win.
