With only two races under its belt, it is far too early to draw firm conclusions. The horse is still learning the ropes, and the fact that it has picked up a couple of placings suggests there is something there to work with. Plenty of horses take time to acclimatise to racing, and a 2-year-old with back-to-back top-three finishes has at least demonstrated it belongs in a competitive field. What happens next will tell you much more about its prospects — whether it can convert these placings into wins, or whether it will continue to find one or two too strong on race day.
