Rogue Inferno

Rogue Inferno made his racing debut just a day ago, finishing ninth in his first outing. The 2-year-old is trained by Edward Bethell at Middleham in North Yorkshire, a yard that has already sent 61 winners to the track this season—a sign the trainer knows how to prepare horses to run well. A debut ninth is not uncommon for a young horse stepping onto the track for the first time, and nothing in a single race tells you much about what lies ahead. Bethell will have learned something from the run, and it is early days for Rogue Inferno yet.
