Rocky Alfonso is a four-year-old who is still looking for his first win after two races without success. His most recent outing, just a day ago, saw him finish fifth, and before that he was fourth — so he is at least showing some improvement, even if the victories have not yet come. Trained by
S Curling at Cashel in County Tipperary, he races for a yard that has been in good form this season, with 14 winners already sent out. That suggests the stable knows what it is doing, which may work in Rocky Alfonso's favor as he continues his search for a breakthrough result.
