This is a horse on the slide, and the lack of a winner in so long suggests it may be running out of opportunities at its level.

Where Rockbury Lad has found most of its success is on normal ground — the kind of turf you get on most racing days. Both of those wins came earlier in its career, bookending a stretch when it was still competitive enough to break through.
