At 10 years old, Rock On Cassie is at the veteran stage of a racing career, and the recent form makes for tough reading. The last six races have produced a fourth, a seventh, a fifth, and three finishes so far back they didn't even merit a placing number — blanks on the form sheet. The horse raced just yesterday, so the yard are clearly still giving it opportunities, but the evidence of recent months suggests a winner is proving harder and harder to find.

Whether Rock On Cassie can add to that tally feels like a stretch based on current form, but the fact the horse is still racing and still placed in the programme at least once recently shows the team hasn't given up.
