The career started with a win at Newcastle on New Year's Day 2026, which is about as bold a statement as a young horse can make. Since then, Riley Rocks has added a second win at Southwell in late March, giving the horse victories at two different tracks in the space of a few months. The recent form reads 6-1-1-4 — that middle stretch of back-to-back wins is the headline, and a sixth-place finish on the most recent run is the only real blot. That race was just yesterday, so there is barely time to draw breath before the next chapter.
Behind the horse is Dylan Cunha's yard in Newmarket, one of the most famous training centres in British racing. Cunha has had 45 winners this season alone, which speaks to a stable in seriously good form — and a horse with two wins from four races fits neatly into that picture. When a trainer is firing in winners at that rate, you take notice of every horse they send out.
At just three years old and with only four races behind them, Riley Rocks is still very much a work in progress. The best of this horse could be a long way ahead.
