The horse races mainly in Class 3 company — competitive but not elite — and even there it has won only 1 of 6 races, a 17 percent win rate that shows it is vulnerable to better horses at this level. Trained by Joe Tizzard at Milborne Port in Dorset, Rightsotom runs for a yard that has sent out 52 winners this season, so it is not lacking for expertise or support. Still, the recent form tells the real story: nothing but 14th place, two blanks, a third, another blank, and fourth in its last six outings. It was back at the track just a day ago, so the team clearly believes there is a race in it yet — but Rightsotom will need to break that 23-month drought to prove them right.
