Red Cuillin made his first race appearance just a day ago, finishing well down the field in 12th place. The 3-year-old, trained by
Gillian Scott at Ballingarry in Limerick, is still early in what will hopefully be a long racing career. Scott's yard has already saddled three winners this season, so there is experience on hand to develop the horse through his early races. With only one outing under his belt, there is plenty of time for Red Cuillin to learn and improve.
