The recent form tells a mixed story. A seventh-place finish last time out, just one day ago, suggests she is still finding her feet at this level, but the fact that she has already picked up a place from her two outings means she has shown something. Trainer Anthony Mullins, based in Gowran, Co Kilkenny, is no stranger to placing horses well, and a yard firing out 9 winners in a season has horses ready to run — which counts for something when you are trying to find the right race for a horse still working out where she belongs.
At this early stage, Red Acres Georgie is very much a work in progress. Two races is a small sample, a blank win column is not a crisis, and with an active yard behind her, the next few outings will tell us considerably more about what she is really capable of.
