The most recent win came at Dundalk in November 2023, which is now over 32 months ago, and the six races since have produced nothing better than a runner-up finish. That second place is the one flicker of encouragement in an otherwise flat recent run of results — a ninth, a twelfth, a tenth, and a thirteenth make up the rest, and that dash in the form figures points to a race where Realtin Fantasy didn't even finish. For a horse racing at 10 years old, consistency is often the best you can hope for, and right now consistency is proving hard to find.
The partnership with jockey Wayne Hassett hasn't clicked either. Thirteen races together and not a single win between them — 0 from 13 — is the kind of stat that quietly tells its own story. That said, W P Browne's yard has sent out two winners already this season, so there is some form in the camp. Realtin Fantasy raced just yesterday, which at least confirms the horse is sound and still being campaigned actively, even if the results haven't been coming. At 10, simply staying in training and getting to the track is something worth noting in itself. Whether another win is coming is another question entirely, but the team clearly believes there's still a race to be won somewhere.
