Raygani

Raygani is a 2-year-old still finding its feet on the track. The horse has run twice so far and has yet to hit the winner's circle, finishing 16th most recently and 10th before that. With a yard as successful as J. P. Murtagh's — which has already sent out 53 winners this season from Coolaghknock Glebe in County Kildare — there is clearly serious horsemanship behind the scenes. For a young horse just starting out, a couple of races without a win is nothing unusual; many of the best take time to develop. Raygani raced just a day ago, so the horse is clearly being tested regularly and actively campaigned. That kind of frequent racing at this age is a sign the yard believes there is something worth developing here.
