Raven's Call

Trained by Edward Lynam at his yard in Dunshaughlin, Co Meath, Raven's Call raced just yesterday, so it is very much in active campaign. Lynam's yard has sent out five winners this season, which shows the operation is capable of finding the right opportunities for its horses — the question is whether they can unlock something similar for this one.

At three years old, there is still time. Horses at this age are still developing, and it is not unusual for a young horse to take several races to find its feet. But four runs without troubling the judge suggests Raven's Call needs something to change — whether that is the distance, the conditions, or simply more time to mature. For now, patience is the order of the day.
