Queens Counsel is a four-year-old with a single race under her belt, which ended in eighth place just yesterday. The horse is trained by
Emmet Mullins at Bagenalstown, a yard that has already saddled 31 winners this season, suggesting a competent operation. With only one outing completed, there is almost nothing to judge yet — she remains a complete unknown, and her performance yesterday tells us little about her ability or potential. What happens next will matter far more than what happened in that opening race.
