Prophet Squeeze

The recent form is uninspiring. Across the last six races, Prophet Squeeze has finished 9th, 7th, 3rd, 6th, 7th, and 7th again — results that cluster around mid-field finishes with little momentum building. That single top-3 finish came in the third most recent outing, but it hasn't sparked any resurgence since. The horse has now gone without a win for at least six consecutive races and shows no obvious signs of a breakthrough.

Barry Murphy's yard in Carmarthenshire has had a modest season with just two winners sent out so far, and Prophet Squeeze is not among them. At Class 4 level — where better horses often compete — the record is stark: zero wins from four attempts. This is the kind of horse that shows up, runs hard enough, but tends to finish somewhere in the middle of the pack. For a horse of advancing years still racing without a victory to its name, the challenge of breaking through only gets steeper.
