Seven places from 17 races means he has finished in the frame more than a third of the time, which tells you he is rarely far away from the action even when he is not winning. His regular jockey Darragh O'Keeffe has ridden him seven times and won once together — roughly 1 in 7 — which reflects the horse's overall profile: consistent without being prolific.

The most striking fact in his record is the most recent one. Potters Party won at Ludlow just this week, on 22 April 2026, and raced again only a day ago. That tells you the team are happy with how he is in himself and willing to keep him busy while he is in form. His recent run of results — a win, a couple of placed efforts, and a couple of quieter outings mixed in — suggests a horse who is not done yet at nine years old.

Kelly Morgan's yard, based in Withcote in Leicestershire, has sent out one winner this season, and Potters Party is it. For a small operation, that kind of result matters. He may not be a horse who wins in bunches, but when the trip is right, the ground is testing, and he is asked to simply keep galloping, Potters Party has a habit of delivering.
