Both wins have come at Navan, which is worth noting. Some horses just click with a particular track — the layout, the bends, the way the ground tends to ride — and Navan appears to suit Positive Energy in a way other venues haven't quite managed. The most recent win there came on 1st March 2025, and the first back in October 2024. Two wins at the same course isn't a coincidence; it's a pattern.

The horse is trained by Brian Francis Cawley, based out of Craughwell in County Galway — a smaller yard that has sent out three winners this season. That's a genuinely strong return, and it's the kind of stat that tells a trainer exactly where to aim. The recent form — finishing ninth, nineteenth, fourth, eighth, second, and eighth across the last six runs — is patchy, but that second place shows the ability is still there. Raced just yesterday, this is a horse very much in the thick of its season, and with Navan and the right trip in mind, another win isn't out of the question.
