Polanco
Polanco is a three-year-old still searching for a first win after nine races on the track. The horse has finished in the top 3 twice, most recently a third-place finish ten races ago, but has now gone six consecutive races without a top-three finish. Last time out, just a day ago, Polanco finished twelfth, continuing a difficult stretch that shows little sign of improvement.Based on TrackLab's analysis

Our model's view, based on this horse's career and recent runs
Trained by P F O'Donnell at Kilmallock in County Limerick, Polanco is part of a yard that has managed only two winners all season — a modest tally that suggests the stable is working with limited resources or less experienced horses. For a three-year-old at this stage of its career with zero wins from nine attempts, the combination of a slow yard and a horse that hasn't found the winner's circle is a testing situation. Whether Polanco will eventually break through or remain winless remains to be seen, but the pattern so far suggests there is real work to do.
