Keane's recent outing on the horse came just yesterday, suggesting Poetic Sound is very much in active training and racing regularly.

The horse broke its duck at Roscommon in August 2024, then went some months before its most recent victory at The Curragh on 3 June 2026 — a win now three months old. Looking at the last six races, the form has been mixed: a second place most recently, then a blank run (no show in the placings), followed by a win, a third, and a sixth. That's the pattern of a horse that is neither out of sorts nor firing on all cylinders — genuine mid-field ability with the occasional day when everything clicks. For a horse rated at this level, that is entirely honest racing.
