Plumton Queen won on her only outing so far, a perfect start at Cork just days ago. The 3-year-old, trained by
Gavin Cromwell's yard at Navan, picked up her first win this week in what looks like a genuinely promising debut. Cromwell's string has been in fine form all season, sending out 96 winners already, so the horse is in capable hands. With just the one race under her belt and a 100 per cent win rate from it, there is naturally very little form to assess yet — but that opening success gives her something solid to build on.
