Trained by Dylan Cunha out of Newmarket, the historic home of British flat racing in Suffolk, Pj's Corner is part of a yard that has hit some real form this season, sending out 45 winners. That kind of output — nearly a winner a week across a season — tells you this is a stable that knows how to get horses ready to win. The question is simply when Pj's Corner will join that list.

Zero wins from three races sounds straightforward, but for a two-year-old it is nothing unusual. These are young horses still learning their job, and plenty of future stars have taken four, five, or six races to get off the mark. What matters at this stage is the quality of those efforts, and a placing already on the board means this horse has at least shown it can mix it with others. The team will be patient.
