Peter's Last Deal

Trained by Tom Symonds at Hentland in Herefordshire, Peter's Last Deal runs for a yard that has been genuinely competitive this season, sending out 11 winners already. At Class 4 level—mid-range racing—the horse has competed three times without a win, which points to it being better suited to lower-grade races where the opposition is less severe. The recent form chart tells the story: three placed finishes mixed with runs well down the field, which is the pattern of a horse that has something to offer on its day but cannot quite find the spark needed to win regularly. After racing just yesterday, Peter's Last Deal is clearly an active runner, part of the yard's regular team, rather than a horse being primed for one big moment. For now, the wait for a first victory continues.
