Pensioners Icon

Pensioners Icon is a five-year-old horse trained by Mark Michael McNiff at Strandhill in County Sligo. The horse made its only race appearance just a day ago, finishing seventh and without a win or a placed finish to its name so far. McNiff's yard has sent out five winners already this season, suggesting the trainer knows how to get horses ready to win — though Pensioners Icon has yet to show that form on the track. With just the one race under its belt, there is little to judge yet, but the horse remains active and could race again soon.
