Parc Dosne

Trained by Matt Crawley out of Newmarket — the heartland of British flat racing in Suffolk — Parc Dosne is part of a yard that has sent out four winners this season, so the operation clearly knows how to get a horse to the line first. Newmarket-based trainers tend to have access to excellent gallops and sharp competition in their day-to-day work, which means horses coming out of there are usually fit and well-prepared. Whether Parc Dosne can translate that into a first victory is the question worth watching. Having raced just one day ago, this is very much a horse in active campaign mode, with the yard clearly keen to find the right opportunity.

Three races is still a small sample. Some horses take time to figure it out, and at three years old there is plenty of season left to turn a placed finish into a winning one.
