Panhandle
Panhandle is a two-year-old horse in training with
Gavin Cromwell at Navan, Co. Meath, who is having a strong season with 96 winners from his yard so far. The young horse has run four times without yet finding the winner's enclosure, finishing 13th, 8th, and 14th in its last three races. With a race just a day ago, Panhandle is clearly being kept active and is still finding its feet at this early stage of its career.

Our model's view, based on this horse's career and recent runs
At two years old, Panhandle is still very much in the learning phase, and it's common for young horses to need several runs before they settle and show their true ability. Cromwell's yard is clearly confident enough in the horse to keep running it regularly, which suggests there may be something worth persisting with. Whether Panhandle will turn those efforts into wins remains to be seen, but with a trainer sending out winners at a solid rate, the young horse has every chance to break through soon.
