What makes this an interesting case is the yard behind the horse. Ian Williams, based in Worcestershire, has sent out 96 winners already this season — that is a serious training operation producing results week in, week out. When a trainer is firing at that kind of volume, every horse in the yard gets professional preparation, good care, and every opportunity to perform. The fact that Ozat hasn't converted any of that into a finish in the frame yet is a puzzle worth watching. Either the right race hasn't come along, or this is simply a horse finding its level.
Having raced just yesterday, Ozat is very much in active campaign mode. Whether Williams finds a spot where this horse finally clicks remains to be seen, but with a yard running as hot as this one currently is, it would be unwise to write Ozat off entirely just yet.
