Out Moll's Gap
Six races, no wins, no places — Out Moll's Gap has yet to trouble the judge in any meaningful way, and the numbers don't leave much room for a positive spin. A 5-year-old trained by
Brendan Maurice Walsh at Doneraile in County Cork, this horse has finished as low as 12th and 13th in recent outings, with a couple of non-completions thrown in along the way.

Our model's view, based on this horse's career and recent runs
Walsh's yard has sent out 3 winners this season, so there is life in the operation — just not much of it coming from this particular horse right now. Raced just yesterday, Out Moll's Gap is clearly still being campaigned actively, which suggests the team haven't given up on finding the right opportunity. Sometimes it takes a horse time to work out what it's doing, and sometimes the right race simply hasn't come along yet. For now, though, the record speaks for itself: six attempts, nothing to show for it.
