Ouro Preto

Ouro Preto is a five-year-old horse trained by Iain Jardine at Carrutherstown in Dumfries and Galloway who has raced eight times without winning or placing. The horse's recent form — a string of finishes from 7th to 11th place across its last six races — suggests it is struggling to find competitive ground. Racing just a day ago, Ouro Preto remains active on the circuit, though it faces an uphill task to break its winless record. At five years old, with no wins from eight attempts, Ouro Preto is firmly in the learning phase — or, more bluntly, still searching for a race where it belongs.
