The recent form figures — 12, 11, 8, 10, 11, 11 — tell a consistent story, just not the one anyone in the Flynn yard would be hoping for. Running in the back half of the field race after race suggests Oreeda is finding it tough to compete at whatever level she has been pitched into. To put it plainly: she has finished in the bottom third of her races more often than not.
That said, Flynn's operation at Carrick-On-Suir in County Waterford is clearly capable of producing winners — ten of them already this season — so the support and know-how are there. Oreeda raced just yesterday, meaning this is very much a story still being written. Whether a change in tactics, conditions, or company can unlock something in her remains to be seen, but for now she remains one of the more elusive puzzles in Flynn's yard.
