Oracle Of Delphi is a three-year-old that made its racing debut just over a week ago, finishing sixth in its first outing. The horse is trained by
A Oliver at Caledon in Co Tyrone, a yard that has already sent out 18 winners this season — a sign of competent horsemanship and a genuine eye for training. For a horse at this early stage of its career, a debut run tells you very little beyond the basic fact that it has now stepped onto a racetrack and completed a race. Many horses improve significantly between their first and second time out, especially if the yard have learned something from how the horse handled the experience. With only one race under its belt, Oracle Of Delphi remains a horse with everything still to prove.
