One To Witness

There is not much of a record to assess yet — one race, one fourth-place finish, and no wins or places to speak of. What is worth noting, though, is the operation behind the horse. Elliott's yard has sent out 209 winners already this season, which is a remarkable volume that puts it among the most powerful stables in Ireland. Being part of a team producing that kind of output means One To Witness will have had serious preparation and will not be short of experienced support. After a break of around seven weeks since that debut run, the hope will be that the horse has had time to benefit from the experience and come back sharper.

With just one race to go on, any judgement here is premature. This is a horse whose story is still waiting to be written.
