One Flash
One Flash is a 2-year-old still learning the ropes, having lined up twice without breaking through to the winner's circle. In the horse's last two races, there was a second-place finish followed by an eighth, suggesting the kind of inconsistency you'd expect from a young horse still finding its feet. The runner came close most recently — finishing second just a day ago — which hints at genuine potential even if the wins haven't come yet.Based on TrackLab's analysis

Our model's view, based on this horse's career and recent runs
Trained by Adrian Sexton at his yard in Athy, County Kildare, One Flash is part of a small but active operation. Sexton has got two winners on the board this season, so the yard clearly knows how to train a race winner. For a horse this young with only a pair of races under its belt, a runner-up finish is often more encouraging than the bare record suggests. The second place in the most recent outing shows One Flash can compete at whatever level it's being asked to race, and at just 2 years old, there's plenty of time for this one to develop and turn that close call into a victory.
