One And Only

The first win came at Cork in December 2024, breaking what must have been a long stretch of near-misses — eight places show a horse who has been thereabouts, just not quite making it over the line. Then, three months later in March 2026, One And Only won again at Limerick. That is the kind of pattern that suggests a horse who runs his race most days but strikes rarely. His most regular partner is jockey Phillip Enright, who has ridden him 20 times and won twice — a 10% win rate together, which is respectable and hints that the two work well as a team.

Looking at his recent form, though, it has been hard going. In his last six runs One And Only has finished tenth, seventh, first, then third — good enough to pay to see, but the tenth-place finish most recently (one day ago) is a reminder that consistency is not his strong suit.
