What we do know is that the team behind it is formidable. Trainer Joseph Patrick O'Brien, based at Owning Hill in County Kilkenny, has sent out 171 winners this season alone. That is a remarkable volume of success and puts his yard among the most productive in the game. A horse trained there is in seriously capable hands, with the infrastructure and expertise to develop a young prospect properly.
A second-place finish from a single race tells you little about a ceiling but plenty about potential — On Just Terms has already shown it can compete. Whether that near-miss becomes a win next time out is the question worth watching.
