His first career win came at Dundalk in October 2024, and then, just a fortnight or so later, he went and won at Newmarket — one of the most famous and competitive racing venues in Britain. Landing a win at Newmarket is no small thing; the track attracts good horses from yards all over the country, and doing it suggests Nyman is capable of stepping up when the occasion demands.

Since that Newmarket success seven months ago, the form has been a bit of a rollercoaster. Recent results read sixth, seventeenth, fourth, fourth, sixth, and then that win — which means if you're reading the list from the wrong end, it looks like decline, but the truth is the win is actually the most recent result of the six. With a race just yesterday, Nyman is clearly fit, active, and still in the mix. He is not a horse rewriting the record books, but he is one that keeps showing up, keeps placing, and has already shown he can win at a prestigious track. For a horse still only four years old, that is a reasonable foundation to build on.
