Nustty is a three-year-old who made their debut just a day ago, finishing eighth. That single outing offers very little to go on — one race tells you almost nothing about a horse's future — but the colt is in the hands of
Gavin Cromwell, a trainer based at Navan who has already sent out 96 winners this season, so there is clearly serious capability in the yard. Cromwell's track record suggests Nustty will have plenty more chances to find their form, and debut runs, especially when they come this recently, are best viewed as a first step rather than a final verdict.
