What makes Numidia genuinely interesting is how specific the good results are. Three of those four career wins have come at Dundalk, Ireland's all-weather track, and all three have come on normal ground conditions — that combination accounts for a 13% win rate from 23 races, or roughly 1 in every 8. For context, that is more than twice the horse's overall win rate. Dundalk is clearly where Numidia feels at home, and the team at Peter Lawlor's yard in Donard, County Wicklow, will know that better than anyone. Lawlor has sent out six winners already this season, so this is a functioning, active operation rather than a yard going through the motions.

The partnership with jockey Rory Cleary is the most established one in Numidia's recent career — they have ridden together 11 times, producing that solitary win, a rate of roughly 1 in every 11. That is modest, but the fact the combination keeps being tried suggests a working relationship the yard trusts. Numidia also shows a hint of promise over longer distances — at two miles and beyond, the horse has won 1 from 6, which is a 17% win rate, or nearly 1 in every 6. Over a trip, there is clearly something to work with.

The recent form — two unplaced runs, then a second, a fourth, a sixth, and a fifth — is a mixed picture. Nothing spectacular, but the placed efforts show Numidia is still competitive enough to feature. The last win came at Dundalk in November 2025, and with the horse racing just yesterday, the search for win number five is very much still on. Given the track record at Dundalk specifically, that is exactly where you would want to be watching.
