Racing just one day ago, Nosmokewithoutfire is right in the thick of an active campaign, and with those two early placed efforts on the record, the team clearly believes there is a race to be won somewhere down the line.

The honest truth is that zero wins from four races and a pair of double-digit finishes recently does not make for a compelling case — yet. But three-year-olds are often still finding their feet, and horses trained out of a yard firing winners have a habit of turning corners when you least expect it. Whether the smoke in the name eventually produces fire is the question worth following.
