Nikolavs Otto

Nikolavs Otto is a five-year-old still hunting for that breakthrough moment. The horse has run once without finding the winner's circle, finishing fifth on its most recent outing just yesterday. It is trained by Dan Skelton at Alcester in Warwickshire, a yard that has already sent out 198 winners this season — so there is clearly plenty of winning form around the stables. Skelton's team knows how to get horses to the front; whether Nikolavs Otto will be next remains to be seen.
