The wins came in quick succession this week. First came a victory at Newcastle on 20 August, then another at Catterick Bridge just six days later on 26 August. That back-to-back winning run suggests a horse in form and capable of handling different tracks — Newcastle and Catterick are very different propositions. With only one race run in the last day, Niffler is clearly being campaigned actively by the trainer.

For a three-year-old with 40% of its races ending in victory and a momentum-building week behind it, this horse has already done enough to be worth watching closely.
