Nicamoo

Nicamoo is a two-year-old in the care of David Loughnane at Stoke Heath in Shropshire, a yard that has already sent out 39 winners this season. The horse made its debut just a day ago but did not find the frame. With only that single outing on its record, Nicamoo has plenty of racing ahead and no form to speak of yet — which, for a young horse early in its career, is simply the nature of getting started. Loughnane's yard is clearly firing on all cylinders this season, so there is every reason to think the trainer will have learned something useful from the run and will be plotting the next step carefully. How Nicamoo develops from here will tell us whether that debut was a learning experience or the start of something more promising.
