The second place that followed shows the horse hasn't lost any of that early promise. At this stage in a young horse's career, a win from three races and already a place to show for it is exactly the kind of record that suggests more good days are ahead. Necromancer is actively racing — last out just a day ago — so the yard is testing it regularly and finding out what works. That's the hallmark of a trainer who backs their judgment.
