The standout fact is what Narragansett does at distances between a mile and six furlongs and two miles. Over that stretch, the horse has won two of three races, a 67% win rate that is genuinely eye-catching. Most horses don't have a distance where they win two-thirds of the time. This suggests Neil Mulholland's yard has found Narragansett's sweet spot, and the yard should be targeting races in that range whenever possible. By contrast, in Class 4 races — the bread-and-butter level where the horse typically competes — it has managed just one win from six attempts, a 17% win rate that tells you Class 4 is a tough environment.

The partnership with jockey Conor O'Farrell has been productive. In six races together, O'Farrell has ridden the horse to two wins, a 33% win rate that is substantially better than Narragansett's overall record. That kind of consistency with one rider can matter more than statistics suggest — a jockey who understands a horse's rhythm and temperament is worth his weight. Recent form is mixed but not discouraging. Two wins in the last six races, including a victory at Sandown Park on 8 March 2025, shows the horse is still capable on the track. With the yard in good order — Mulholland has sent out 60 winners this season — and Narragansett active right now, there is every reason to think the best races may still be ahead, provided the horse stays healthy and the team keeps it in the right races at the right distances.
